Towards the end of February 2006, I finally decided to get out of the
horrible cycle of paying rent and never having anything to show for it.
In fact, I was going to be pushed out of an apartment complex at the
end of March, so I had to find a place to live by April 1 and I wanted
a home of my own.
I had less than two months to find the house that I wanted, get the
financing done, and move in. I could not have accomplished this without
the help of Terry Mahlum.
She worked on finding a home for me on a daily basis, always checked in
with me, and was willing to meet me to look at houses whenever I needed
as I had a very hectic work schedule. She took the time to listen to
everything that I wanted in a home and the price range that I was
